I grew up in the countryside 5kms NW of Turkey Point, Ontario Canada. ( That's between Frogmore to the west and Dogs Nest to the East ). Moved to Toronto back in '90 to for a career & to see what all the fuss was aboot. Have to say I miss the country. Haven't lived anywhere else, but I have travelled most of North America, Europe, and made stops in Scandinavia & the Carribean. Nice world out there. You Americans really know how to do a "Vistas".

Odd… (military lass)

Born in Soellingen Germany, raised everywhere there is an AF base in Europe. After which, most of my time was in Cold Lake, Alberta, did prep-school in Sydney, Aus. Finished schooling in Vancouver and went to UBC – electrical engineering. Quit and taught English in Varanasi, India and travelled. Tried to go back to University and ended up sea kayaking in Mexico for a 6 month stint – bartended near La Bufadora close to Ensenada on the Baja peninsula. Somehow, ended up in Montreal for a few months and then whent back to University in Quebec City (Laval University). Did my second Bachelors (Ethnology) and my Masters there (Muséology – applied Eth). Then the traveling starts with Bombardier… (too many places and roads worn down....)

The Blow Hole huh Kammie. Named after you or Nighty Many years ago use to head down there every year. The gulf side was better, San Felipe. Drove the entire coast with my brother. Camped at all the coves all the to Cabo. Have you been thru the Vizcaino Desert down there?

As for me, I grew up on a farm just outside Bassano, a small town in southern Alberta (near Calgary). I then moved to Lethbridge, AB to attend college. Took a hiatus and worked throughout the States (Montana, N and S Dakota, Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Colorado) Have also been to Washington, Idaho and Utah. As for Canada- all over B.C., Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario. Ended up back in Bassano, where I still reside.
With ya on the Island Kami, have relatives I need to go visit again.
Need to get off this Continent tho, soon... plane ticket Kami??
