PC Patch Announced for Tomorrow 3/29/12

The date has arrived!! @zh1nt0 has tweeted out confirming the PC patch for tomorrow (Thursday the 29th). Battlelog will be in maintenance from 9-11:30 CET
The arrival of the patch will be a defining moment for thousands of BF3 players around the world. Thanks @Incep710n for catching this!

Ugh, I am unimpressed as a tanker. Air kills are much more frequent and effective now, and fire from opposing tanks straight on seems faster at 2 hits for a kill. The air now dominates many rounds, and if you are lucky enough to escape an air attack, there is high probability you will be killed trying to repair. Repairs now take forever + 1 day.

I agree Larry, im also very unimpressed as a tanker. so much so, that i havent really played in about 6days.

I hear you Nick. I just played on another server and pulled gold and silver in two rounds. I twice used AA and the 2nd time I was Admin killed. He said no AA allowed. I said, well then remove it from the game. AS it turns out there is a warning note, but in BF3 I rarely spend any time reading.
I think the changes I mentioned prior for air and arty are overkill, and they need to reverse or find a compromise.

Wait - so air is way more effective but you can't use AA to kill them? How does that work?

Yeah Larry, I noticed the repair torch has been lamed down a lot. An interesting observation that I've both heard and made is that the torch is much more effective now at destroying enemy armor.
So if I can just get Tim and Nick to C4 me in a jeep waaaay up in the air, I can torch the enemy planes for you!
Oh and btw there Sarge, you sound a lot like General Douglas MacArthur all of a sudden.

Speaking of Douglas MacArthur, some of you know I just returned from two weeks in Australia. On my way back, I was in Auckland and 4 seats in front of me was Tommy Lee Jones, who is filming MacArthur in New Zealand. I can post some pics if you're interested.

Just played on ITB Bunker server. Killed 9 times in a row by same guy in jet. It's ridiculous now.
