VIP slots partially working on some servers

There have been some reports from server owners about the VIP system PARTIALLY working on their servers. I have tried to replicate this on our server but it doesn't seem to be working.
It seems that DICE might be testing the VIP system for PC so there is some hope that we will soon have access to this feature.
Here is a thread where Kalms which works for DICE states that the VIP slots are not working properly yet with R21.
