Same here Whirls. I loved DoD. I am sure just like most of us, FPS games started with Doom and Castle Wolfenstien.

The original for me was Rainbow 6.. even had a clan, MOJO.. so that's where that comes from.

Ohhh I forgot about that one. Then of course I played the COD and Medal of Honor when it comes to Playstation. Oh I almost forgot about SOCOM. First game (that I remember) with voice activiated squad movements.
