Now I know there's a way to disable user radio messages, I've already done that with the console command "chat.ignoretextandaudio" or something like that...
What I'm thinking is to disable the annoying anouncer that yells in my ear every time a base white flags or gets taken over he says something like "Prago, an outpost is being overrun, move to protect immediately". I think it was a humongous oversight on the part of EA not to implement a way of disabling this as this is really getting annoying after days of gameplay...
I've looked around the web and thought that I might be able to find the compressed sounds file, decompress and then replace those particular ones ith dummies and then recompress, however:
1) I couldn't find those particular sounds in all the decompressed files
2) Would this be considered a PunkBuster violation, and if this is the case, would you guys be willing to make some sort of exception for me?
Thanks
How to disable the system radio messages
Re: How to disable the system radio messages
Modifying of your game files in any way is a PB violation, Im not too sure of the server settings but there is a good chance you would be kicked by PB for mismatched files. Exceptions of any kind of file altercations would not be allowed on EA117.

Correct me if I am wrong but I also believe if he is caught by PB for said violation it will go on the global list. Then he will not be allowed to play on ANY PB servers. I think I would learn to like it. I personally like to know when a flag is going grey.
