I found this PC that will run BF4 nicely and almost meets the recommended requirements for only $349.99. Hurry, this deal won't last long.

Its listed on http://moofi.woot.com/ and it's a refurb but I think the price is great and it will make a good gaming PC for those on a budget.

In order to meet the recomended requirements for BF4, all you would need to do is update the video card to a 7870 which isn't too bad.

Woah, looks cool.

I assume that pretty much anything could be upgraded if necessary? You're saying the GPU could be swapped out. Power supply as well if necessary? Throw a SSD in there eventually...?

I'm sorry - I haven't built anything with computers going on years now. I'm like my 1998 self again.

Yes, yes and yes as long as you get compatible parts.

Cool. I pulled the trigger. One Battlefield 4 ready machine en route. (on lite settings)

A GPU and RAM upgrade away from a robust Battlefield 4 machine hopefully.

Thanks for the tip Specialist.

Yeah, I'll likely get a headset. I don't know how team/squad based people get on there, but I definitely remember using a headset on Counter Strike back in the day. Very fun for serious gameplay with clans.

I just got shipping confirmation.

I look forward to revving it up in a week or so and putting it through its paces with BF3. It seems that the included GPU can run it on toned down settings. I'll look to get a more serious GPU and will definitely be anxious to see if this can touch the ultra settings or at least get close so I get some of the visual richness of these current games. It seems the CPU isn't a beast from some of the reading I've done, but it ought to be able to hold its own.

Arrived today. Going to play with it tonight I think. BF3 if I can manage. Updating Windows now...

I was pleasantly surprised to see an extra 4GB of RAM for a total of 10GB, not 6GB. Woot.

Meh. I'm gonna need a much stronger GPU. I can run BF3, but it feels like I have to drop the resolution and run low settings just to be "smooth." The piddly card that came with this machine is pretty underpowered....as somewhat expected.

I hope a killer card can change that dramatically.
