its even worse in Canada we have a monopoly on purpose...Bell canada is offering fiber in certain areas but don't seem to want to change the formula....its pathetic

I want internet data to not be controlled or throttled by ISPs because there can be a conflict of interest. Just sell your service and move along.

Comcast (and TimweWarner) have products/media that competes with Netflix, hulu, youtube, etc. Comcast w/TW controls ~60% of broadband house holds in the US.
