Your going to have to reinstall those two maps.

I think under add/remove programs if you have your cd in, click on the modify and ju8st have it reinstall those two maps...should be ok..

unless you messed with the DC maps

I recommend that you re-download the maps again, i will attach the midway map file, you might need to search the web for coral sea.. just delete the altered ones and replace with the new files and you should be good to go.

Midway.rfa - http://www.box.net/shared/8an1mesq5j

This should be a link for coral sea, not sure though. http://www.download.com/Desert-Combat-B ... 37540.html

When you insert the battlefield 1942 CD into your computer I believe there is a small window that comes up with an install/uninstall button to click on. If you want to remove the game without using the Add/Remove programs you can manually delete the "Battlefield 1942" folder found in "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\" but really the Add/Remove programs feature would be the best way to go since there are more files on your computer then just the ones found in the folder I mentioned.

Your best solution is to replace the modified map.rfa files like mentioned above.

The way the 1942 maps work in DC is really simple. The actual .rfa files for all the original maps are a lot smaller in file size because all they contain are txt files that tell the map to spawn modern weapons instead of WW2 stuff. So when you play original maps in DC your computer opens all the terrain and buildings from the 1942 map.rfa and then opens and overides all the weapons from the small DC map.rfa. Basically if you edit a map found in the bf 1942 levels folder it will be edited in DC also. (except for anything that would get overwriten by the DC rfa file) I used to play around with Battle craft and if I wanted to modify a 1942 map then I would always just use the copy feature and make a duplicate of the map so that I wouldn't ruin my real version for online play.
