EA 117 Gaming Community

is the talk of politics something that the admins allow, on the EA117 server ?!

im only raising this question because i had seen Default ask another player to stop a few nights back...then 2 days back there was a lengthy discussion going on that filled that chat log for about 5 minutes or so.....

does it just depend on which admin is on at the time, or do the admin folks all agree that it isnt something that should be going on in the server ?!

So far as I know, all the admins agree we don't want a bunch of political or religious discussions making it unnecessarily difficult for everyone to enjoy playing here. So if it starts to get out of hand, we'll politely ask them to stop, and take further action if they can't see their way clear to give it a rest.

There isn't any "rule" that says politics or religion can't be discussed. It's just that its something we already know everyone doesn't agree on, and will create deep (or shallow) discussion at length. This doesn't need to happen on a server where diverse people from all around the world have joined to play a game and have fun.

I don't think anyone would disagree with you on that. Maybe suggest here in the forum some sites where they can actually go and do that, or how to contact you in order to hear it from you directly.

We're only confirming that on EA117 in the middle of a Battlefield 1942 game isn't that place, if this wasn't already obvious.

I think it goes without saying that another chat topic that has been abusively injected into games is what people are eating. For example, Haribo gummi candies. Specifically, those Gold Bears*.

I am a fan of the peach rings. Sorry, I have just been away for a while and figured I would give me .02 on this sensitive topic.

dem tell them to get on ts and i will even create a Hillary vs trump debate section ...or harper vs trudeau for us canuckers...i dont know why more players don't get on ts? it solves many issues like we all know its pineapple the others are just filler..

You have horrible tastes in candy! (although I will eat those, but prefer watermelon sours or gummi bears or sandpaper) Those peach things are popular though. Seems like you're able to get them anywhere. Same as toilet paper I guess.

We need to pass the hat to get you a basic comp to get back in game. Yours went kaput a while back?
