Crappy when there are issues like that and admins aren't on to immediately clarify.
Not having heard anything from Payne's side of it yet, it's assumed you're saying he was attacking a parked Harrier (i.e. destroying equipment in the uncap main), and not finishing off a Harrier that had returned back to the carrier to repair/reload.
The uncap main and any equipment that isn't firing out cannot be attacked except with a sniper rifle. But returning back to the uncap main does not offer any protection, either.
The person attacking still has to be careful to not kill anything /else/ while finishing off the Harrier, since that would still be considered attacking the uncap main. But the Harrier itself would have still be fair game if it was returning to repair or reload.
