just throwing the idea around atm.....so it may be some time if it goes ahead ( thats providing admins are ok with me getting footage etc )

just thought it would be kewl to capture more of the in game carnage now that we have newer faces to the server.

does anyone know if you can adjust the deathcam speed, or is it set ?! ( i mean if i am capturing footage in co op mode on my own LAN server )

I don't see an issue with you recording.
As to the ability to adjust the deathcam speed, it appears to me that it is an off/on setting but Trench may have more info on that.
He is out of office...so to speak...but checks in when he can.
We will get an answer at some point, but I'd work with the assumption it is not adjustable for the moment.

i did stumble across a key command whilst in the death cam mode....i found if you hold down the left control key, it makes you move super fast lol....faster than the planes can move...but if there is a way to adjust it to make it the speed of the planes, then i can get sooooo many different angles while planes are flying.

ive looked for config files etc, to see if its listed but with no luck...dem will keep researching

found the command lol....if anyone else is interested its : game.FreeCameraFastSpeed # the higher the number the faster it goes...a quick test found that anything around 3-4 is on par with jets...so it would be game.FreeCameraFastSpeed 3
it controls the left cntrl key function speed.......now to get busy lol

my plans are on hold for a bit.....after having to re install BF42 ( the prepackaged version ), i cannot change the freecamera speed without it causing a 'rubberband' effect...very annoying lol...im going through each config file to see if theres a setting that needs changing..until then i gotta hold off on our next video :/

it seems to only happen if i fire up a dedicated server....if i create a game i am not having the issue....little more trial and error to see what will work best..

I havent given up on this idea...it just may not work out the way i had planned.....the Dem has been using some of the in game sounds in a way, you wouldnt expect hopefully this part of it works......

I have indeed brother ....in the video section of the forum you will find a few.....i think the last one i made was back in 2020, not long after we lost patches

Dem is slowly putting the music together for the vid.......it in itself is time consuming ( you will understand why when the vid is finished )...then i will begin capturing footage.......gotta get out the grey wig, fake grey beard and squat down so Dem can turn into George Demonic Lucas lol

Music is all complete.....it took awhile because i hardly play my guitar these days and it was hurting my freakin hands lol....now i will look at getting some footage >: )

As Mr Jolly mentioned in the chat on here, i began recording tonight.....i hope you guys can bare with me, because i am going to be picky as to what footage goes in to the final cut....i did get one kill recorded on NFZ tonight that looked kewl to me >:)...so even if i get 40 clips off one map, only 2-3 might be worth keeping..

and dont worry if you kill me while i am recording....its going to happen so, its all good lol.....but, i will remind everyone that i am recording with my HUD turned off, so i will not see any one chatting to me etc....

It might also be the last one i do, because theres only so many ideas or footage one can get before it becomes " yeah, seen that 100 times already " ...but we will see >:) ( i should have used the ' Demonic Lucas' name...ill do that next time >:D
